enjoy The Romance Of Sweden’s Archipelago
Trosa is a typical traditional archipelago town. The best thing about Trosa is that it is just as idyllic as you ever imagined. And the really fine thing about Trosa is that the old-time and carefully-preserved town centre is still flourishing with a life of its own.
History of Trosa
The harbor ends at a stone pier called The Butter Bucket. When you arrive there you have reached “World’s End” and can go no further. Trosa’s nickname arises from its location at the end of a long peninsula.
Go for a Swedish “fika”.
Trosa has several nice cafes! In Trosa you can go for a typical Swedish “fika” at one of our many cafes! They have a lot of cookies and cakes to offer, and great coffee! We have even got our very own chocolate and marzipan factory here in Trosa!
