The archipelago town of Trosa in the province of Sörmland offers activities to suit all tastes. A day with no plans is easily spent strolling through the central parts of town, enjoying everything there is to see and do. Great coffee, excellent shopping, delicious food, fascinating nature, and cultural experiences. In Trosa, you’re close to everything.
We take an empty picnic basket along for the trip, as we will be shopping on the way. Fill your stomach and basket with fresh vegetables, meat from organic farmers and beautiful plants. We want to discover the local artisan food.
The term ‘Swedish Fika’ is known across the world. The small municipality of Trosa, with its (over) 14 500 inhabitants, also offers something sweet to suit all tastes. There are no fewer than 16 places for a coffee and snack, each with its own personal touch.

Utflyktsvägen winds from Stockholm’s southern archipelago all the way to Bråviken. Along the beautiful road, over 100 coastal destinations wait to be explored by anyone daring to leave the E4 for a while.
There is something special about visiting a farmer or a breeder at their farm and purchasing some carefully produced products directly from them. Most of the things can be found in Trosa and the surrounding area – vegetables, meat, egg, flowers and more. We have listed all the farm shops so it is easy to find them.
