Stay active year round
The urban-adjacent outdoor recreation area offers activities year-round. At the end of Friluftsvägen, there is a large gravel parking lot, from where you can access all the different activities. Near the parking lot, at the base of Trosabacken ski-slope, you’ll find the scenic motorhome camping spots at Hunga.
At Banan Outdoor, you can train outdoors in any weather, even with a headlamp during winter. The illuminated trail is well-lit and available year-round. In winter, volunteers maintain Trosabacken, offering both alpine skiing and cross-country tracks. Trosa Activity Park is open year-round but must be booked in advance during the off-season.
The new mountain bike trail is about 1.7 kilometers long and is rated blue with some green sections. At the starting point, there are seating areas for those who want to rest for a while.

The right of public access (Allemansrätten)
Thanks to the right of public access, we can move freely in nature. Always remember the motto “do not disturb, do not destroy” when in nature.
Never lit a fire directly on rock slabs. They crack and it leaves ugly wounds in nature that cannot be repaired. In the event of a drought, a general fire ban may apply. For updates on the fire situation, read the respective municipality’s website or msb.se
Leave no trace! All rubbish you have taken out to sea, you must bring ashore. Littering is prohibited.
