Excursions in Sörmland

Take a detour and discover a different kind of road, beyond the rush and all too familiar fast-food chains. Sörmland has so much to offer! Explore the magnificent nature, thrift stores, shops, food, and Swedish fika. The excursions from Trosa offer authentic experiences and delightful moments.

First and foremost: turn off the E4 and choose the smaller roads. That’s where you’ll find those delightful spots that become lifelong memories. Along these roads, you’ll discover small-scale businesses, artisan crafts, historical sites, farm shops, and experience the beautiful nature.

Trosa is, of course, the perfect place to start! Excursions are available in every direction – all within an hour’s drive from central Trosa. Just imagine what you could find. If you only take that turn. And find another path.

Set the GPS to Mölnbo and let the journey take you back in time with a visit to Butiken på Landet. This clothing store is housed in a large, old barn from the 1800s.

If you can’t get enough of vintage items, be sure to visit Långbro Gård, home to two beautiful and fascinating shops: Traditionella Byggvaror and Prima Pinaler, both located nearby.
