Christmas in Trosa

The Christmas lights are lit, the trees in the square are being set up, and the shop windows are beautifully decorated. Experience a fairytale-like Christmas in Trosa municipality. Warmly welcome to do your shopping, enjoy Christmas buffets, visit markets, and all the other things that come with the holiday season.

During the Christmas holiday, torches are lit along the Trosa River, from the square and right down as far as the harbour. A magical walk, with the light from the torches illuminating the route and the rows of turn-of-the-century houses. What could be more fabulous than that? Or more beautifully wintry.

At Visit Trosa, the staff agree that this is probably the most beautiful time of the year in Trosa municipality. The Christmas lights, all the beautiful shop windows – it’s so cozy! Each season, of course, has its own charm, and it’s beautiful all year round. This time of year is more peaceful. Even though the Christmas hustle and bustle naturally reaches even here at the end of the world, you’ll have time for relaxation and recovery.

Warmly welcome here during the Christmas season!

Unfortunately, they cannot be lit in too windy or rainy weather.
