About Trosa kommun
The town of Trosa is located 70 kilometres south of Stockholm. The municipality consists of Trosa, Vagnhärad and Västerljung, and has about 15 000 permanent residents, but periodically, its population far exceeds that.
Excellent connections with the outside world and the proximity to the Swedish capital, along with the sea, the forest, lakes, meadows, and the agricultural region, make it hard for people to tear themselves away. The population of Trosa has grown steadily for years now, as has the municipality’s popularity as a destination.
